Are you like a child in a sweetie shop with all these delicious colours?

A really nice trick for experimenting with our lovely colours is to "lazy swatch". Just grab a decent-looking bit of cardboard, a bit of cereal box will do, and wrap the yarn around it. This way you get a feel for how colours change when put next to each other. You can see if your blend is as smooth as you would like or if your contrast is strong enough to show off your chosen motif.
