Spring Green

Lots of people associate knitting with winter, sitting by the fire with your slippers on. But I like to knit all the year round.

In Spring I take my knitting outside. I'm so lucky to have my wee back garden, my own little world. This year we've had a veeeeery slow spring, so that woolly hats and blankets and even hot water bottles have been the order of the day.


There's so much colour inspiration in the natural world. Just look at the way yellow and green blend into white in the cups of these Spring Green tulips.


Here's to knitting rain or shine. Here's to colour and texture and the gifts of Mother Nature.
